Worn out
After a week of grueling try outs, Ben made the Bogle Jr. High flag football team. Practicing in record heat was hard and I am so proud of Ben for not giving up. He made the team! I'm ashamed that I didn't get even one picture of him in his uniform.
He is convinced that he will someday play for the NFL, so making the team was the first step :) They only won one game all season, but Ben has such a great attitude. He played his hardest every time and loved being on the team.

Football
January and February was filled with flag football. The boys love it so much. Max and Ben both improved so much - they both played AWESOME!
Max catches the ball!
Runs and makes a touchdown!
Max and another boy on his team had a groove going - G would throw the ball and Max would catch it. I loved watching them play together.

Football and plans
Both Ben and Max played flag football this fall. Max's team went undefeated the entire season and Ben's team only lost twice. Max was known for his touchdown dances and great defense. His coach named him "Mini Fitz". That pretty much made Max's life. Seriously. Ben was also on a great team and got some great interceptions and a touch down or two. Ben even wrote up a few plays for his team. I love watching my boys play.Max had quite a few friends on his team. Here he is with one of his best buddies - Case:
During October break we moved Ben's mattress into Max and Evan's room. Ben and Max like to make "plans". One night I overheard them talking about waking up and getting all of their chores done by a certain time so that they could play football. I love that my boys are each other's best friends. They all have been getting along lately and nothing makes me happier. Even Evan and Max have become friends. Miracles do happen!

Hamilton Prep football
Football season is in full swing over here. The only people in our house who aren't eating, sleeping and dreaming football are Evan and I. But I really think Evan is teetering on the edge...
I was surprised when Xander decided not to play flag football with his school this year. I think he was hoping to be on Ben's rec team, but that didn't pan out. Midway through the season, Xander's coach asked Xander to be on the team. He loved it - especially since they were a winning team this season.Michael was also on the team. I think he was in charge of the defensive line. He made an awesome interception at one of the games I attended.
The season's now over, but that's ok because Ben and Max's season just started. It's so fun to watch my boys doing something that they love. :)

Rainy day
A few weeks ago it rained. Hard. And every boy knows that the best time to play outside is right after a rain storm :). Liam invited Max to play at his house, so I took Christian to our house to play with Ben (I think we all know that Tiffany got the short end of that stick).
My cousin Kevin was in town from Europe. I love it when he's in town. All the kids followed him around like he was the Pied Piper.

Football
We are still experiencing Football Fever over here. It's what my boys (Ian included) do and talk about. All. The. Time. Even Evan knows the name of NFL teams and players. And he was just as excited as Ben when Randy Moss got traded to the Vikings. It's serious over here folks. Saturday both Max and Ben had flag football games. Max played first and his team won 18 t0 12.

Football Fever
Football season is in full swing at the Trezise house. It began a few weeks ago when Ian and Xander attended a Fantasy Football League party. I thought it would be a fun thing for them to do together. Little did I know that football would spread like the plague in this house. Now Xander, Ben & Max have their own Fantasy Football League.

I love Larry Fitzgerald
Our weekend in pictures:
On Sunday, we hung out with at Jason & Tiffany's house to watch the Super Bowl. The kids played.
During half time all the kids put on their 3-D glasses to watch the 3-D commercial for Monsters & Aliens.
While Evan played Star Wars.
