Betty (Ian's mom) retired from her job as Media Specialist at Highland Elementary School. She has been working and volunteering at that school since Ian was in school there. The boys were excited to see where Ian went to elementary school and to help celebrate all the years Betty has worked there.
They did a really sweet tribute to Betty. I know there are really going to miss her. It was neat that they honored her and all of her hard work.
Evan didn't want to leave so he was "hiding".
I was so glad we could all go.
